ABOUT THE ARTIST
Julia is classically trained, having completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London where she gained a Bachelor of Music with Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction. She has performed at some of the top concert halls in the UK including The Royal Albert Hall and has performed at the Proms with the BBC Symphony Orchestra but she has always had a passion for indie music. Her first taste of performing with a jazz band came when she was just 10 years old and the feeling of freedom that came with playing modern music never left her.
It's hard to imagine that what started out as a fun challenge and a way to make music independently of others, has turned into a real passion that has seen Julia Violinista perform some of your favourite songs in a very unique way. What makes her performances so unique is her ability to arrange her own music and layer the parts on top of each other to create her own music videos and recreate popular songs.
Since she started releasing her music on social media, her performances have caught the attention of singer songwriters and bands who have shared her music on their social media and radio shows. She is so grateful to all of those people who follow her, support her on Patreon, listen to her music and have encouraged her to keep arranging.
